Course Information

All distances are approximate and within 5% +/- of the stated figure, give or take a bit.  These are trail runs and the wrong place to look for precision.  The courses are exacting, but not exact. That being said, the ½ marathons will be pretty close to being a half marathon.

Now this is a tricky one… As you are running across farm land, farmers don’t tend to have readily available name tags for their paddocks so it’s way too complicated to give you detailed instructions (for example run through the paddock go over the gate and um then run through the paddock and so on…) for this one so you’ll have to rely on the markers being in place. It’s not been a problem in the past, so all should be good. There will be arrows to turn you and pickets with tape on them so you can see where to go.

Half Marathon – 21.1km ish

We have mad a change to all course’s for this year. This will be a 3 lap course.

There’s a lot of variety on this trail but it is not to hilly and it has always been a firm favourite. We’ll mark the course so that you will know where you have to go.  All you have to do is follow the arrows and coloured tape to keep you on track.

 Medium Course ~ 14km ish

We have made a small change to all course’s for this year. This is a 2 lap course.

This is a very pleasant run with lots of variety.  Gently undulating most of the time with some little pinches to stop you getting bored, but some good flat stretches to allow you to stretch out. Follow the arrows and tape and you will stay on course happily.

Short Course ~ 7 km

You will see the other distance runners coming and going onto the same course as you don’t panic we know exactly where to send them. This is a lovely run though some great trails. You get to run around vineyards, across open land and through woods.  An amazing amount of variety for such a short course.

Make sure you follow the arrows and coloured tape and you’ll be fine.
